Two Parts
The conference will feature two expert-led parts:

  • Part 1: Focused on Neuroplasticity and the biochemical basis of learning and recovery and creative cognition.  Current pharmaceutical strategies aimed at reducing inflammation,  protecting neurons, and slowing disease progression.

  • Part 2:
  • The Role of Brain Rhythms in Cognition and Memory Formation.
  • Disruption of Brain Rhythms in Neurodegenerative Diseases.
  • How do we promote critical human learning in an increasingly AI world and AI in Education and Development.
  • Ethical and Legal Issues in Patient and Family -Representation in Neurodegenerative Diseases.

Through science, compassion, and ethically grounded collaboration, we aim to address challenges for individuals affected by neurological conditions and brain trauma—including complex neurodegenerative disorders such as ALS, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and Parkinson’s disease, all of which share underlying challenges related to progressive neural deterioration, impaired communication between brain cells, and declining cognitive or motor function.

Learn to see the world with fresh eyes is not easy. Yet it is necessary. Why? We have old questions, eternal questions – What is truth? Love? Beauty? Good? What does the heart seek? We live in a world of change and if we don’t see the world with fresh eyes, we might not be able to answer these questions as they are obscured by change and noise.

Open dialog, shared knowledge, and lifelong learning – It is easy to walk away from these over time, but we must not. We need to live in a space where ideas flow, curiosity is nurtured, and fear is kept from being our compass. Far-seeing vision requires open eyes, clarity, and a greater horizon. When we meet others, we must offer compassion as we share ourselves and listen quietly. Our aim is to be humble. To live with the breath of the sublime. In doing so, we reaffirm a timeless truth.

“When we live in alignment with our deepest values and strive toward our highest potential, we not only honor who we are—we inspire what we can become".

Our Mission

At HAS Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3). We are a recognized public charity and your donations are fully tax-deductible to the maximum amount allowed by law.

Designed as a dynamic forum for interdisciplinary dialogue, fostering meaningful exchanges at the intersection Neurodegenerative Diseases, Cognitive Enhancement  and Creative Cognition.

Our Mission is to support scientists and researchers dedicated to advancing healing, recovery, and overall well-being for individuals affected by neurological conditions and brain trauma —such as ALS, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and Parkinson’s disease—conditions that share core challenges involving progressive neural deterioration, disrupted communication between brain cells, and the gradual decline of cognitive and motor function.

We Are Committed To:

  • Supporting families and caregivers by providing financial assistance, connecting them to vital community resources, and offering non-clinical guidance.

  • Promoting innovative research in neuroscience and neuroplasticity, and advocating for evidence-based treatments and rehabilitation.

  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals and institutions to support ethical care coordination and informed decision-making.

  • Ensuring that unrepresented patients—those without family or legal surrogates—receive appropriate care through legally compliant partnerships, including guardianship facilitation and advance directive planning.

We're proud to partner with a dedicated team of health professionals and doctors to provide essential support, training, and guidance to families caring for loved ones with ALS. We also support brain trauma research, treatment, and rehabilitation—advocating for those affected and offering continued support to survivors on their journey to recovery.
